Bio

Dr. Fatemah Albader is an Assistant Professor of International Law at Kuwait International Law School. She holds a Juris Doctor, with Honors, from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science dual degree in Public Relations and Political Science from the University of Florida. Dr. Fatemah Albader is also admitted to the bar of Washington, D.C., where she is a licensed attorney who is permitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and the federal courts of the United States.

Previously, Dr. Fatemah Albader has worked with the United Nations Development Programme in Kuwait, has served as research assistant for faculty members in both Emory University and in Kuwait University, and she has worked in various law firms in the United States in different fields. She has also worked on projects for the United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Unit and the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances.

Her area of research is international law, in particular matters relating to international human rights and humanitarian law.
